LEADERSHIP
MBA
Leadership for Immediate Impact
Our unique approach provides students with real-world mentorship and guidance. These mentors are found not only in our unique Business Leader Faculty but also in the colleagues you meet in the classroom or online. These classmates are like-minded, practical professionals themselves with years of experience in real-world businesses. That’s what makes us different.
At Lake Forest we do more than provide information. We don’t give students theories or academic concepts just for the sake of knowledge, hoping that one day they can use those lectures and textbooks to solve a problem.
Our Program
Our MBA consists of 16 eight-week courses. Of the 16, 11 core courses are in areas critical to contemporary leadership, four elective courses are selected by interest or by pursuing a degree specialization, and one capstone course is centered around strategic management.
Flexibility
We know you're busy and have many personal and professional obligations daily. That's why we work with you to build flexibility into our program to make sure that school fits into your life and not the other way around. You are empowered to determine your own pace and in many cases, choose how you attend class.

ORGANIZATIONAL DYNAMICS
Leaders lead people, and organizations are comprised of people. This specialization provides leaders with deeper understanding of how communication, interpersonal issues and organizational approaches to its people can enhance their ability to lead in any industry at any level. The four courses that make up this specialization include Negotiations & Conflict Management; Organizational Communication; Leadership Perspectives that addresses DEI, team and talent management topics; and Ethical Leadership.
DATA ANALYTICS
Students become more effective leaders by leveraging analytics for improved insights and effective decision-making. Courses in the Data Analytics Specialization teach students about leading technological trends such as data modeling and artificial intelligence and how they support business strategy. Students will gain insight into how to ask the right questions and effectively leverage an organization’s databases to make better informed, data-supported business decisions.
GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN
In the four Global Supply Chain courses, students delve into the four interrelated pillars of a truly global supply chain: 1. Product Development & Management, 2. Strategic Sourcing, 3. Demand Planning & Inventory Management, and 4. Distribution & Logistics. With the emergence of Industry 4.0, these pillars have been augmented by Big Data, AI and the continual response to the Voice of the Customer. Our approach will be to analyze each of these pillars through the lens of recent trends resulting in deep understanding of foundational processes and practices, and the know-how to execute in the most advanced organizations.
FINANCE
The Finance Specialization prepares a student to take on business leadership roles in areas of corporate finance, investments, and global finance. The four courses in this specialization focus on giving the student the tools and leadership ability to analyze portfolio strategies, financing options, and organization risk profiles.
